ICYMI: Gabe Evans’ First Bill Passed the House of Representatives
Yesterday, the House of Representatives unanimously passed Gabe Evans’ bipartisan Benefits that Endure for Lifetimes of Service (BELO’S) Act. This marked Congressman Gabe Evans’s first piece of legislation to pass the House.

Congressman Evans’ legislation grants free access to National Parks to the families of veterans who pass away from service-related illnesses or accidents.
The BELO’s Act is named after First Sergeant Marc Belo who was deployed in the Middle East with Congressman Gabe Evans in 2012. Belo passed away from a service-related cancer last year after giving more than three decades of service to his country.
“Congressman Gabe Evans has hit the ground running in Washington, passing his first bill and delivering on his promise to support veterans and their families. Putting results over partisan politics, Gabe Evans has quickly become a trusted voice for Coloradans.” — NRCC spokesman Zach Bannon
