President Trump today signed an executive order to eliminate cashless bail in Washington, D.C. and took a direct aim at Democrat Vicente Gonzalez’s failed, toxic, pro-criminal agenda that’s made Texas cities less safe.

Gonzalez has consistently chosen to appease his radical far-left base and push a dangerous defund the police agenda while rejecting the rule of law and threatening the safety of Texans. 

• Gonzalez voted against condemning the defund the police movement, making it harder for local law enforcement to protect their communities. 
• Gonzalez voted against The POLICE Act, rejecting the proposal to make assaulting a police officer a deportable offense.
