Congressman Derrick Van Orden hosted a ‘No Tax on Tips’ event in Galesville, highlighting the tax cuts and savings Republicans secured for Wisconsinites under President Trump. 

Derrick Van Orden has remained a steadfast voice for Wisconsin, delivering working families tax cuts including no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and tax cuts on Social Security. 

Wisconsin taxpayers will save $3,182 on average thanks to Representative Derrick Van Orden.

Rep. Derrick Van Orden hosted a “No Tax on Tips” event Friday evening at Beedle’s Bar and Grill, emphasizing the potential financial benefits for service industry workers under proposed Republican legislation.

“The servers here, they get up and they work very, very hard and I want them to be able to keep as much money that they earn as possible,” Van Orden said during the event. “And that’s what this bill is doing. We’re talking about 25,000 dollars a year worth of a tax break for their tips… and that’s the right thing to do.”

Van Orden highlighted the savings and tax cuts that Republicans and President Trump secured for Americans during the previous administration. The congressman framed the no-tax-on-tips proposal as part of a broader Republican economic agenda aimed at reducing the tax burden on working Americans.
