Tom Barrett Once Again Delivers for Veterans and Michigan

Yesterday, Congressman Tom Barrett delivered another win, passing bipartisan legislation, to support veterans and bolster the U.S. supply chain workforce.

The legislation creates a framework for the Secretary of Transportation to identify barriers veterans face in landing jobs in the transportation and logistics sector, while requiring policy recommendations to eliminate these barriers in critical infrastructure roles.

Tom Barrett is a 22-year U.S. Army veteran and serves on the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
