Gabe Goes Full Radical, Votes to Shut Down Government

Last week, out of touch Democrat Gabe Vasquez voted to shut down the government and sell out New Mexico.

His reckless vote could put New Mexicans directly in harm’s way:

• Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers potentially being forced to work without pay.
• Blocking 41,961 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
• Forcing 20,538 federal workers in NM-02 to work without pay.
• Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for New Mexico’s 172,113 small businesses.
• Limiting access to financial assistance, including disaster relief, for 11,228 farmers.
• Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 3,925 children in New Mexico. 

Bottom line: Vasquez put a partisan stunt ahead of the livelihoods of everyday New Mexicans.
