GRAY’S COWARDLY SKIP: Refused to Protect California Families in Shutdown Fight

Last week, out of touch Democrat Adam Gray  refused to do her job, skipping the vote and selling out Californians.
 
His cowardly refusal to stand up could put Californians directly in harm’s way:

• Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay.
• Blocking 15,734 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
• Forcing 3,789 federal workers in CA-13 to work without pay.
• Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for the state’s 4.3 million small businesses.
• Limiting access to financial assistance, including disaster relief, for 10,896 farmers.
• Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 44,106 children in California. 

Bottom line: Adam Gray put a partisan stunt ahead of the livelihoods of everyday Californians.
