POU’S THE PERPETRATOR: Nellie Threatens NJ Veterans, Families, and Workers

Last week, out of touch Democrat Nellie Pou voted to shut down the government and sell out New Jerseyans.

Her reckless vote could put New Jerseyans directly in harm’s way:

• Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay.
• Blocking 10,959 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
• Forcing  5,995 federal workers in NJ-09 to work without pay.
• Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for the state’s 1.1 million small businesses.
• Limiting access to financial assistance, including disaster relief, for NJ-09’s 44 farmers.
• Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 8,505 children in New Jersey. 

Bottom line: Nellie Pou put a partisan stunt ahead of the livelihoods of everyday New Jerseyans.
