Moskowitz Plays Shutdown Blame Game

Least Effective Florida Democrat Jared Moskowitz is desperately trying to pass the blame on the looming government shutdown that HE voted for.

The truth is, Moskowitz’s vote may have put Floridians directly in harm’s way:

• Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay.
• Blocking 25,731 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
• Forcing 6,162 federal workers in FL-23 to work without pay.
• Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for the state’s 3.5 million small businesses.
• Limiting access to financial assistance, including disaster relief, for FL-23’s 238 farmers.
• Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 27,754 children in Florida.
