Costa Turned His Back on Hungry Families

Out of touch Democrat Jim Costa shut down the government, turning their back on moms, dads, and Californians trying to feed their families.  

By forcing a shutdown, Costa jeopardized funding for food stamps and other food assistance programs, like WIC and SNAP, making it harder for Californians to put food on the table and support their families. 

Bottom Line: 1,052,155 Californians could be going hungry because of Costa’s vote.
