NY Moms and Kids Left Hanging by Suozzi & Gillen’s Political Games

Out of touch Democrats Tom Suozzi and Laura Gillen shut down the government, turning their back on moms, dads, and New Yorkers trying to feed their families.  

By forcing a shutdown, Suozzi and Gillen jeopardized funding for food stamps and other food assistance programs, like WIC and SNAP, making it harder for New Yorkers to put food on the table and support their families. 

Bottom Line: 3,380,370 New Yorkers could be going hungry because of Tom Suozzi and Laura Gillen’s vote.
