Whitesides Put Politics Over Hungry Kids

Out of touch Democrat George Whitesides shut down the government, turning their back on moms, dads, and Californians trying to feed their families.  

By forcing a shutdown, Whitesides jeopardized funding for food stamps and other food assistance programs, like WIC and SNAP, making it harder for Californians to put food on the table and support their families. 

Bottom Line: 1,039,697 Californians could be going hungry because of Whitesides’ vote.
