Democrats add Greg Landsman to list of at-risk House members in 2026

U.S. Rep. Greg Landsman will join a list of vulnerable House Democrats to be defended in 2026 as the party seeks to regain control of Congress.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee added Landsman to its list of Frontline members, who get extra money and support to run difficult races in districts that favor Republicans. The Nov. 24 announcement came weeks after Ohio lawmakers approved a new congressional map that gives the GOP an edge in Landsman’s 1st Congressional District.
The district now stretches from Cincinnati to Warren and Clinton counties and doesn’t include suburbs in northern Hamilton County.

Ohio was required to draw a new congressional map this year and passed one with the backing of Republicans and Democrats on the Ohio Redistricting Commission. Progressive advocates blasted Democrats for supporting the map and called it a raw deal for Cincinnati voters in particular.
The new map also makes life harder for Rep. Marcy Kaptur, a Toledo Democrat, the longest-serving woman in Congress.
