NRCC Launches “Inside the Majority” Video Highlighting Ryan Mackenzie

WASHINGTON, DC – The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released an “Inside the Majority” video highlighting Congressman Ryan Mackenzie’s work to lower the cost of living for Lehigh Valley families.

Affordability and cost of living are far and away the biggest concern for people in our local community right now. So what we’ve been able to accomplish, things like no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, increasing the deduction for seniors on Social Security… for many people, they’re living paycheck to paycheck, and so any kind of tax relief is meaningful.

We were able to do that by expanding things like the child tax credit to $2,200 per child and indexing it to inflation. But for working families, seniors, and everybody in our community, there’s still more work that needs to be done. Really, as an individual, I know that we need to make sure that we’re providing a better life and opportunity for the next generations to come.
