Begich shatters Alaska US House fundraising record with nearly $1 million Q4

Congressman Nick Begich announced that his re-election campaign raised nearly $1 million from more than 29,000 individual donations in the fourth quarter of 2025, setting a new Alaska record for a Republican US House candidate in an off-year reporting period.
The strong fourth-quarter performance capped off a record-breaking fundraising year for the freshman congressman. Begich’s campaign reported more than $3.2 million raised in 2025, surpassing the previous off-year record set by Democrat Mary Peltola, who raised $3.195 million in 2023. Begich also reported a record $2.28 million cash on hand at the end of 2025, exceeding Peltola’s $1.77 million during her comparable off-year cycle.

With more than $2.28 million already in the bank and a record-setting donor base, Begich enters the 2026 election year with one of the strongest financial positions ever held by an Alaska U.S. House incumbent.
