Greg Landsman’s Anti-Law Enforcement Agenda and Rhetoric is Dangerous
Out of touch Democrat Greg Landsman has fully embraced the radical left’s extreme anti-law enforcement agenda.
His social media tirades full of incendiary language proceeded his vote against funding the federal government in the pursuit of defunding ICE.

“Out of touch Democrat Greg Landsman’s anti-law enforcement agenda and dangerous radical far-left rhetoric is a slap in the face to Ohioans and the brave men and women who protect America’s communities. Landsman is a liberal lunatic that can’t be trusted.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Bannon

Republicans are calling out Democratic U.S. Rep. Greg Landsman for criticizing Immigration and Customs Enforcement multiple times on social media in the past month.
The Democratic congressman and incumbent candidate called the Trump administration’s use of ICE “chaotic” and “deadly” in a Jan. 9 Substack post.
“They have no plan, no chain of command, no oversight or transparency, and no coordination with local law enforcement,” Landsman said. “They’re ordering armed federal law enforcement officers and soldiers – with little to no training or experience in de-escalation and community engagement – to take over communities despite the objections of local leaders, inciting even more fear, violence, and unrest.”
He also wrote that ICE is “targeting law-abiding, legal immigrant and asylum seekers – people who have been in the country and contributing for decades – and disrupting our economy and communities.”
Landsman also criticized Trump-appointed Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and called for her to resign.
Landsman previously called for ICE to leave Minneapolis, Minnesota, in posts on X on Jan. 16 and Jan. 17.

The Department of Homeland Security cited rhetoric used by politicians as a cause of increased violence against law enforcement in a November 2025 press release.
The number of reported assaults against ICE officers rose to 238 between Jan. 21, 2025, and Nov. 21, 2025, compared with 19 assaults during the same period in 2024, according to the DHS.
“After months of Democrat politicians comparing ICE to Nazis, the gestapo, slave patrols, and even encouraging illegal aliens to resist arrest, our brave ICE law enforcement have been assaulted 238 times,” Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said. “Our law enforcement officers have had Molotov cocktails and rocks thrown at them, been shot at, had cars used as weapons against them, and been physically assaulted.”
“Sanctuary politicians need to tone the rhetoric down before a law enforcement officer is killed. They should be thanking these brave law enforcement officers who risk their lives every single day to arrest pedophiles, rapists, murderers, gang members, and terrorists from our neighborhoods.”
