Despite Frank Mrvan’s Roadblocks, Trump and Republicans Boost U.S. Steel Production
Despite out of touch Democrat Frank Mrvan standing in the way, the “United States produced 82.0 million tons of steel in 2025, up 3.1% from the previous year.” This marks the first time in nearly three decades that the “U.S. outpaced Japan in crude steel production.”
While President Trump and House Republicans are focused on driving U.S growth and supporting communities like Northwest Indiana, Mrvan is hell-bent on blindly following his radical far-left base that runs today’s Democrat Party.

“President Trump and Republicans are delivering real results for Northwest Indiana, while Mrvan sells out to his radical far-left base. Frank Mrvan can’t be trusted when it comes to ensuring American steel dominance.” — NRCC Spokesman Zach Bannon
