Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA) is facing criticism for what critics call a “disappearing act” from the public eye, alongside a controversial vote that has split her political base.

Concerns about the Congresswoman’s accessibility began to raise after her official website stopped listing new public events following June 18, 2025. Her campaign’s events page has also been completely removed leading to a “Page not found” error for anyone trying to track her schedule.

Frustrated residents who say they can’t get through to the Congresswoman anymore have started posting negative reviews on the Yelp page of Dean’s Car Care—the Portland-based auto repair shop owned by her husband—with negative reviews.

The 2026 race is shaping up to be tough, with polls showing the incumbent slipping.

A November survey found her support dropping from 24% to 17% after voters learned more about her recent votes.
