Marie Gluesenkamp Perez Owns Democrats’ Dangerous Rhetoric After Another Failed Assassination Attempt

After yet another attempted assassination targeting President Trump, Republicans are fighting to fund security, protect leaders, and ensure threats are treated with the seriousness they demand. Democrats, meanwhile, are doing what they do best: voting against resources, playing politics, and failing the most basic responsibilities of government.

Even worse, this recklessness follows years of Democrats like Marie Gluesenkamp Perez smearing President Trump and Republicans as “fascists,” escalating tensions with dangerous rhetoric. 

Perez herself declared America was in a “time of darkness,” saying, “I know that so many of you put in so much work to derail Trump’s march toward fascism.”
