WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released the following statement on Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District primary election: 

“Congressman Rob Bresnahan is a NEPA native who’s spent his first term in office delivering real results for Pennsylvania workers, families, and seniors. Political opportunist Paige Cognetti is a West Coast liberal whose lack of leadership has raised taxes, plunged her city into a crime crisis, and nearly forced Scranton families to live without reliable access to emergency medical services.
