The Maine Dem Party Is Fleeing Graham Platner. Why Aren’t Dunlap and Baldacci?

The Maine Democrat Party just cancelled an event scheduled for tomorrow and set to feature Democrats running in the ME-02 primary, and Graham Platner, who has made headlines for all the wrong reasons.

This week alone, reports exposed that Platner has a habit of “jerk[ing] off” in porta-pottys, said a Purple Heart recipient was a “dumb motherf*cker” who “didn’t deserve to live,” and complained about a “loophole” closing that allowed military contractors to “spend your leave banging hookers in Thailand.”

Cancelling the event signals that the Maine Democrat Party is distancing itself from Platner, but why aren’t Matt Dunlap and Joe Baldacci, who endorsed him, doing the same?
