Did Gabe Vasquez Take an Illegal Campaign Contribution?

A new report is raising serious questions about defund the police Gabe Vasquez’s campaign.

Several years ago, Vasquez took a campaign contribution from his uncle, whose listed address is in Mexico. Taking foreign campaign cash in any election is a violation of U.S. law, even at the local level.

So did Vasquez violate U.S. law?
