NRCC Statement on NY-17

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released the following statement on New York’s 17th Congressional District primary election:  

“Mike Lawler is a trusted fighter for Hudson Valley families. Thanks to Lawler, the SALT cap quadrupled, critical benefits like Medicaid are there for those who rely on them, and communities are safer. Meanwhile, shady Democrat Cait Conley wants to raise taxes and costs, supports taxpayer-funded sex changes for kids, and was a key architect of Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal that left 13 service members dead.
