NRCC Expands Offensive Target List to Grow GOP Majority

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) today announced seven additional Democrat-held districts to its target list, further expanding the offensive battlefield as House Republicans build momentum toward expanding the majority.

The NRCC has added AL-02, FL-14, FL-22, LA-06, MO-05, OH-01, and TN-09, bringing the total target list to 36 Democrat-held seats across the country.

Additional Background:

  • There are 23 Democrats running in districts President Trump won in 2024, with 21 of those Democrats in seats where the President received over 50% of the vote. 
  • Meanwhile, only eight Republicans are running in districts Kamala Harris won in 2024.
  • Of the 18 districts rated “Toss-Up” by the Cook Political Report, President Trump carried 17 in 2024.
