A new report shows Lazy Lil’ Jared Moskowitz, who is running in a district President Trump carried by almost 10 points, is paying far-left strategists to run his campaign.
Moskowitz has paid Mothership Strategies nearly $80,000 in total this cycle, and other groups like the Medicare for All PAC, the Equality PAC, and No Kings PAC, which support everything from socialist policies to radical gender ideology, bankroll the group as well.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Federal Election Commission filings show U.S. Rep. Jared Moskowitz has paid tens of thousands of dollars to Mothership Strategies, a Democratic consulting firm whose clients include several progressive organizations, as he campaigns for re-election in a South Florida district that overwhelmingly backed President Donald Trump in 2024.

Mothership Strategies has received more than $2.1 million from the Medicare for All PAC, founded by Rep. Pramila Jayapal. As a leading progressive voice in the House, she has worked alongside “The Squad.” In addition to mentoring members of the group, Jayapal has consistently drawn scrutiny from Republicans and conservative groups over positions on issues including single-payer healthcare, immigration reform, and progressive fiscal policies. She has publicly praised socialist policies. She has repeatedly accused Israel of being a “racist state,” pushed to defund the police, abolish ICE and eliminate cash bail while serving as chair of the Progressive Caucus.
The Equality PAC, another Mothership client, was founded by self-proclaimed socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, and includes current Squad members Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, and Ilhan Omar. The group supports policies forcing Medicaid to cover gender-affirming surgeries for minors, using taxpayer dollars for transgender healthcare for children of military personnel, shielding doctors who perform such procedures from parents, allowing schools to hide a student’s transgender identity, and funding drag queen story hours for children along with drag queen recruitment for the military.

Republican critics argue Moskowitz’s use of the firm stands in stark contrast to the political make up of his district, where Trump won by nearly 10 percentage points in 2024.
“Least Effective Democrat Jared Moskowitz paying far-left strategists to run his campaign in a Trump-won district tells Floridians everything they need to know: Moskowitz is wildly out of touch,” NRCC spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole said in a statement. “Florida families want a representative laser-focused on delivering for them, not on pushing woke gender ideology and socialist policies.”
