Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp Perez’s Republican challenger, John Braun, brought in House Speaker Mike Johnson on the campaign trail in an effort to raise money. “Why is that so important? Because this district is going to help us decide the fate of the Republic,” Johnson said. “We’re going to keep and grow the majority through the Republican Party for common sense in Washington. That’s what’s on the ballot.” The House Speaker is a key campaigner right now for Braun in his run for Congress. Johnson is currently on a cross-country tour raising money for Republican candidates.
