Weirdo Darren Soto’s campaign is on life support. Soto’s latest FEC filing shows that he spent $82,000 more than his campaign brought in.

But Soto’s unpopularity isn’t surprising. He voted to raise taxes on his own constituents and pushed woke policies like taxpayer-funded sex change surgeries and drag queen story hours for kids. Oh, and don’t forget, he’s also written vile rap songs about sexual assault.

U.S. Rep. Darren Soto has been spending money faster than he raises it, according to his latest fundraising reports. That has Republicans questioning if he can rally support as he faces the toughest road to re-election of his career.

Reports show Soto from July 1 through 29 raised just over $184,000, but he spent almost $266,000 over the same time.

Ultimately, he closed the reporting period with under $1.19 million cash on hand, compared to $1.27 million in the bank. In total, he has raised about $2.16 million for his re-election campaign, while spending nearly $985,000 before even knowing who will be the GOP nominee.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), which has listed Florida’s 9th Congressional District as one of four the party could flip from blue to red in November, said that shows national Democrats bailing on the endangered incumbent.

“Creepy Darren Soto’s campaign is on life support, and it’s not hard to see why. Instead of serving his constituents, Soto has served the whims of his radical Democrat Party, voting to raise Floridians’ taxes and push woke policies on them like taxpayer-funded sex change surgeries,” said NRCC spokesperson Maureen O’Toole.

A new congressional map leaves Soto in a district where more than 58% of voters supported President Donald Trump in the 2024 Presidential Election.
