Dina Taxes’ Gas-Tax Trap

Out of touch Dina Titus has the gall to demand credit for gas-tax relief after backing the very tax trap that is snatching those savings right back out of Nevadans’ pockets.

In 1997, Titus voted for legislation amending Nevada’s gas-tax trigger. Under that provision, a federal gasoline-tax reduction triggers an equal state-tax increase.

She backed the tax trap. Now she wants applause for promising relief.
