Obama Fundraising Oddly Similar to Dem Tax Plan
“Surprise,” Says Obama Campaign, “I’m Here to Ask You for Money”
- President Obama’s re-election campaign sent out a curious new fundraising appeal this week, telling supporters, “Yep, me again. Surprise: I’m here to ask you for money.”
- Democrat donors at least get the courtesy of being asked for more cash, unlike the families and small businesses who Democrats want to force to pay more taxes in order to feed the Democrats’ spending addiction.
- The Democrats’ spendthrift habits have affected not only the waste of taxpayer dollars, but even Obama’s own re-election campaign, which was recently criticized for excessive spending.

Democrat donors at least get the courtesy of being asked for more cash, unlike the families and small businesses who Democrats want to force to pay more taxes in order to feed the Democrats’ spending addiction:
TAXMAGEDDON WILL COST AVERAGE FAMILY $4,138 IN 2013: (“Taxmageddon Costs Average Family $4,138 Next year,” The Heritage Foundation, 6/14/2012)
TAX HIKE WOULD BE A $201 BILLION HIT TO THE ECONOMY: (Robert Carroll and Gerald Prante, “Long-Run Macroeconomic Impact of Increasing Tax Rates on High-Income Taxpayers in 2013,” Ernst & Young, July 2012, Appendix C)
710,000 JOBS COULD BE DESTROYED BY DEMOCRATS’ TAX HIKE PLAN: (Robert Carroll and Gerald Prante, “Long-Run Macroeconomic Impact of Increasing Tax Rates on High-Income Taxpayers in 2013,” Ernst & Young, July 2012, Appendix C)
1.8% DROP IN WAGES: “Real after-tax wages would fall by 1.8%, reflecting a decline in workers’ living standards relative to what would have occurred otherwise.” (Robert Carroll and Gerald Prante, “Long-Run Macroeconomic Impact of Increasing Tax Rates on High-Income Taxpayers in 2013,” Ernst & Young, July 2012)
DEMS’ SPENDING ADDICTION IS THEIR TOP PRIORITY, BUT VOTERS JUST WANT JOBS:

The Obama campaign says it has four paid field staff based in South Carolina and that they also perform campaign work in North Carolina, which is expected to be hotly contested.” (Peter Nicholas and Danny Yadron, “Obama’s Burn Rate Worries Some Democrats,” The Wall Street Journal, 7/22/2012)
