NRCC Launches New Radio Ad Targeting Colorado Democrat for Plan to Cut Seniors’ Healthcare Coverage
Washington- The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) today launched a new ad blitz against Colorado Democrat Betsy Markey, a close ally of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and a key player in the Democrats’ plan to pay for their government healthcare takeover by cutting senior citizens’ Medicare benefits. Last week, Markey even told a group of constituents that Medicare recipients will have to give up some benefits as part of the Democrats’ plan – saying we have to do this, because “we’re Americans”:
“Some people, including Medicare recipients, will have to give up some current benefits to truly reform the nation’s health-care system, Rep. Betsy Markey told a gathering of constituents in Fort Collins on Wednesday.”
