NRCC Launches New Web Ad: ‘Welcome Back, Democrats. Did You Miss D.C.?’

Democrats Head Back to Capitol Hill After Month-Long Roasting from Constituents

Washington– After feeling the heat at home for the past month, Democrats have reconvened in Washington deeply divided on the Pelosi plan for government healthcare takeover. The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has released a new web ad compiling some of the Dems’ worst moments throughout their month-long roasting from healthcare town halls in their districts. As Democrats continue to push a faulty healthcare agenda that will cut senior citizens’ Medicare, raise taxes on small businesses, explode the deficit, and incentivize companies to drop their private coverage, taxpayers clearly aren’t buying it.

“Democrats have spent the last month of their disastrous August recess trying to sell a faulty healthcare agenda and now they are undoubtedly feeling the heat,” said NRCC Communications Director Ken Spain. “This video will serve as a helpful reminder of the many concerned citizens that have spoken up in healthcare town halls throughout the nation, sending a loud and clear signal to Washington that they oppose the Democrats’ government healthcare takeover. As Democrats return to Washington on the defensive after a month-long roasting, will they finally learn not to ignore voters’ concerns?”
