PMA Probe Taken Up by House Ethics Committee

The House ethics committee said in a statement released tonight that the panel is investigating the ties between a now defunct lobbying firm and members of Congress.
While they did not name the firm or individual lawmakers, senior Democrats including Reps. John Murtha of Pennsylvania, Pete Visclosky of Indiana, and Jim Moran of Virginia have all been tied to the lobbying firm, PMA Group, in recent media reports. All three lawmakers are senior members of the Appropriations Committee and each has ties to the defense industry.
