GOP Road Trip: Live from the Prarie State

AS you may have read in a recent Politico article (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0809/25812.html), Congressmen Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA) are hitting the road to meet with prospective candidates, grassroots and party leaders throughout the nation.

Last night, the road trip kicked off in Chicago, Illinois at the GOPAC dinner, where joined by Congressman Tom Price (R-GA), Kevin and Lynn had an opportunity to meet and speak with state legislators from throughout the nation.

Today, along with Congressman Peter Roskam (R-IL), the members met with prospective candidates from Illinois’ 10th and 8th congressional districts and the Illinois Young Republicans

Folks are feeling optimistic about Republican chances at picking up the US Senate seat, winning the Governor’s race and growing the Republican congressional delegation.
