8th District Candidate, Larry Bucshon, Reveals Tax Plan

A candidate for Indiana’s 8th District Congressional seat says the keys to economic development include extending the Bush era tax cuts and opposing cap and trade legislation.
Doctor Larry Bucshon says the most important thing the federal government can do for the economy is to keep taxes low on both individuals and on businesses.
He says that includes a permanent repeal of the death tax and lowering the top business tax rate from 35% to 20%.
Bucshon faces Democrat State Representative Trent van Haaften in the November election.
Van Haaften’s campaign says Buschon’s economic program supports the kinds of loopholes that allowed Whirlpool to move to Mexico.
