Massa Resigning

BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor:
Another vacancy in Congress to report tonight. Upstate New York Congressman Eric Massa, who’s facing a formal harassment complaint by a male staffer, announced he will resign on Monday. Freshman Democrat earlier said he would not seek re-election because of health problems, but today he acknowledged his language could have made the staffer uncomfortable, saying, quote, “The ethics issue is my fault and mine alone.”
