NRCC Announces Regional Political Directors for 2012
Sessions Taps Veteran Political Operatives for Regional Posts

Washington—National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Pete Sessions (R-TX) announced today the new regional team that will spearhead the committee’s political efforts in districts across the country. Newcomers John Rogers and David Watts will be joining NRCC 2010 cycle veterans Chris Carr and Lee Padilla as they help lead political operations in their respective regions.

“These experienced and dedicated political professionals will play critical roles in Republican efforts to strengthen our majority in 2012,” NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions said. “With the skills to stay on offense, they bring a powerful dynamic to the NRCC team this cycle, and I look forward to working with each of them to build more Republican victories.”

The team is led by Political Director Mike Shields and Deputy Political Director Brock McCleary. The new members to the NRCC regional political team include:

Chris Carr, West and Southeast Political Director: Carr has worked in Republican politics for the last 19 years, holding positions with the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
