With Upcoming Push to Cut Red Tape, Will Mike Ross Support More Job-Destroying Spending Instead?

Washington — As Republicans push this week to remove burdensome big-government regulations that have stifled job creation, Mike Ross’ fellow party members have instead been renewing the push for even more reckless spending. This is all occurring at a time when new polls show that the American public strongly understands that we need to shrink the size of our bloated government and provide the right economic climate for private sector job creation. If Ross continues to stand by his fellow Democrats in continuing their job-destroying spending spree, it will be a clear sign that he places his party before getting Arkansas back to work.

“In response to the calls from voters to make job creation a priority, it seems that Mike Ross and his fellow Democrats only have more spending to offer as a solution,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Ross and his party leaders may be the last to understand that Americans want an end to the big-government policies that continue to stifle job creation. That process starts with cutting red tape and empowering job creators, not the increased stimulus spending that Democrats are calling for.”
