Critz Continues to Ask You to Pay for More Spending
Pennsylvania Democrat to Vote for Another Blank Check Today

Washington — Although Mark Critz and his Democrat allies helped champion a spending spree that resulted in record deficits and debt levels, Critz wants to be able to spend and tax even more instead of living within his means. Specifically, Critz is frantically requesting another blank check for more spending by supporting a higher borrowing limit without any spending cuts today. Critz will again advocate for policies that continue his spending spree with American taxpayer dollars unabated.

“Mark Critz has loyally aided his Democrat leaders in racking up the most debt in American history, and he is showing no signs of abandoning his free-spending ways,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “When Critz votes today to continue these policies free from any spending cuts, he’ll be requiring more tax dollars from the pockets of Pennsylvania families who all share the increasing government debt burden to foreign countries like China.”

The House will hold a vote on Tuesday evening to see if any Members will support raising the debt limit without any spending reform – essentially a blank check for even more spending:

“A day before they huddle with President Obama at the White House, Republicans will vote on the administration’s initial request that the nation’s $14.3 trillion debt ceiling be lifted without any accompanying spending reductions. Mark Critz previously signed on to a letter demanding the authority to borrow trillions more, free from any spending cuts. (“As stock market drops over worries about US debt, Welch leads 114 Democrats in demanding a clean extension of debt ceiling,” Office of Rep. Peter Welch, 4/18/11)

This is despite the fact that the Democrats and their allies have been the ‘undisputed kings’ of debt:

Mark Critz is so unwilling to relinquish his spending spree that he is insisting upon taking more money from American taxpayers. Critz today will continue to indebt current and future generations of Pennsylvania families to foreign countries like China by voting to protect his ability to keep borrowing without any cuts.
