California Democrat Has a Record of Promoting Overbearing Government Regulation that Small Businesses Say is Their Biggest Concern
Washington — Small businesses continue to say that the wave of new red tape championed by President Obama and his Washington Democrat allies is their number one problem, but John Garamendi’s voting record shows he would rather side with his party leaders than take meaningful action to create jobs. Instead of embracing common sense regulatory reform and helping small businesses create jobs for middle-class families in California, Garamendi has decided he would rather vote to support his Democrat leaders’ job-destroying policies that would make a bad economy worse.
“John Garamendi’s voting record shows that he clearly does not understand how to get California back to work,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Garamendi demonstrates just how out of touch he is with middle-class families in California after consistently supporting job-killing regulations to make life more difficult for small businesses and make a bad economy even worse.”
