Kissell Won’t Get Out of the Way So Americans Can Get Back to Work
September’s High Unemployment Rate Yet Another Indication of North Carolina Democrat’s Failed Policies

Washington — Larry Kissell and his fellow Washington Democrats continue to push for burdensome taxes and excessive regulations, which continue to stifle economic growth as September unemployment stayed devastatingly high at 9.1 percent. Far from easing the hardships of American workers, the big government policies that Obama and his Washington allies like Kissell champion continue to destroy job creation.

“The American people cannot wait any longer for Larry Kissell to finally do what it takes to create jobs,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Kissell has continuously backed Obama’s regulations and heavy taxes that are impeding job creators from getting our economy moving again. How high will unemployment have to go before Kissell and President Obama realize that their job-killing policies are making a bad economy even worse for North Carolina families?”

In September the national unemployment rate stayed dangerously high at 9.1 percent. (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Accessed 10/7/11)

Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz claimed in an interview that “anyone” can see the economy is on its way to recovery after years of Democrat leadership in Washington:

“And I think anyone who looks at the economy knows we have come a long way.” (Craig Bannister, “‘Anyone’ Can See Economy’s Improving, DNC Chair Insists,” CNS News, 10/5/11)

It is unclear what progress the Democrats are referring to, since the unemployment rate was 7.8 percent in January 2009 when President Obama took office. (U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics, Accessed 10/7/11)

With unemployment at 9.1 percent in September, it is obvious that Larry Kissell refuses to support an environment that encourages job growth. The American middle class is tired of watching Kissell and Obama spend money the government doesn’t have. It’s time instead that they finally let businesses grow uninhibited by their job destroying agenda.
