New NRCC TV Ad: Obama Doesn’t Need to “Convince” Ben Chandler
Kentucky Democrat Continues to Support Obama’s Failed Policies

Washington — The National Republican Congressional Committee announced the release of a new television ad that highlights Ben Chandler’s commitment to Obama’s reckless economic policies that have caused the debt to skyrocket while failing to create the jobs that were promised. With the economy teetering on the brink of a double dip recession, Kentucky families are worried that Ben Chandler will once again prove his allegiance to Obama and support his next wasteful stimulus package.

“The Ben Chandler that was first elected to Congress in 2004 would not recognize today’s Ben Chandler who doesn’t even need convincing to support President Obama’s latest stimulus spending spree,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Washington clearly has changed Chandler, and Kentucky families are paying the price. The last thing America needs is Washington politicians like Obama and Chandler trying to double down on the same failed stimulus policies that have made our economy worse.”

The script for this ad is as follows:

TV BROADCASTER: But the President doesn’t need to convince U.S. Rep Ben Chandler about his 447 billion dollar jobs bill. The Kentucky Democrat says it’ll put people back to work.

ANNOUNCER: Hold it. Ben Chandler did the same thing with President Obama’s first failed stimulus program.

BEN CHANDLER: Barack Obama, I know, will provide the steady hand and leadership we need.

ANNOUNCER: Chandler, Obama, Obama, Chandler. Their spending keeps making the economy worse.
