Dems Still Out of Touch with Voters on Their Government Takeover of Healthcare
Polls Continue to Show Democrats are Wrong When They Miraculously Claim ObamaCare is Getting More Popular

House Democrat Leaders Like Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-CA) Say ObamaCare Is Getting More Popular And Should Be A Top Campaign Issue For Democrat Candidates Across The Country:

“Despite those numbers, Becerra said Democratic candidates shouldn’t shy away from supporting the law. ‘I don’t believe for a moment that if a candidate stands up and talks about increasing access to good doctors in a hospital that he won’t find himself in good stead with the voters,’ Becerra said. ‘Anyone who believes that the Affordable Care Act is good has a good chance of being elected to office and should stand by that.'” (Ed O’Keefe, “Democrats: The more Americans learn, the more they love health-care reform,'” The Washington Post‘s 2chambers Blog, 3/19/12)

But Voter Disapproval “Consistently” Outnumbers Approval As The Supreme Court Hears Arguments Over The Law’s Constitutionality This Week:

“In the latest poll, 47 percent said they oppose the law while 36 percent approve, with the rest having no opinion. The results are similar to previous surveys that have consistently found the law’s detractors outnumbering its supporters. Keeping the law intact is preferred by a mere quarter of those surveyed, largely Democrats, reflecting the deep partisan divide within the overall findings that has persisted since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act just two years ago.” (Dalia Sussman, Helene Cooper and Kate Phillips, “Most Americans Oppose the Overhaul, Poll Finds,” The New York Times, 3/27/12)
