Forgotten Workers Still Suffering Under Obama-McIntyre Economy
Participation Rate Reinforces Dems’ Failed, Job-Destroying Agenda As Unemployment Numbers Remain Unacceptably High
Washington — In February the new national unemployment number was announced at the unacceptably rate of 8.3 percent as the American labor force continues to deal with the loss of workers who have lost hope in Mike McIntyre and his party’s ability to jumpstart economic recovery. Washington Democrats’ anti-growth policies have encouraged skyrocketing energy prices and debilitating regulations on small businesses leaving North Carolinians with no job, no prospects and no hope for the future.
“President Obama and Mike McIntyre have put their crippling political agenda first and in the process have forgotten the American worker,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “The news of another month of high unemployment and a dangerously low rate of participation reinforces the fact that Democrats’ are stunting economic recovery on many levels.”

Washington Democrats have succeeded in disheartening Americans from believing it is even worth trying to find a job as many give up looking altogether:
“But the truth is, with so many Americans discouraged about finding work that the BLS isn’t even counting, once those people start to filter back into the job market, the rate of unemployment is bound to rise. … This is why many economists don’t expect the unemployment rate to drop below 8% until next year.” (Rick Moran, “Unemployment rate to tick upwards for February – Gallup, American Thinker, 3/2/2012)
