Take Control of Our Healthcare: Don’t Send Boswell Back
As Long As Boswell Remains in Congress, Personal Healthcare Decisions Will Remain in Hands of Government

WASHINGTON — After today’s Supreme Court decision, the only way to repeal Leonard Boswell’s government takeover of healthcare is to fire the Democrats who created it. Boswell’s government takeover of healthcare remains a massive roadblock to Iowa families taking control of their healthcare and to small businesses trying to create jobs. Thanks to Boswell, spiking premiums, $500 billion in Medicare cuts and the anti-growth environment of ObamaCare are still the law of the land – voters in Iowa cannot afford to bring him back.

“Washington-controlled healthcare burdens families, seniors and small businesses that are already suffering in a fragile economy,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “But as long as Boswell is in office, he won’t stop increasing government control of our personal healthcare decisions. The only way to start over is to send new leaders to Washington who will fully repeal this law and promise not to repeat the mistakes that Boswell and Nancy Pelosi made in passing it.”

The Supreme Court’s decision to uphold ObamaCare means Democrats’ crushing regulations on America’s small businesses, seniors, and working families will remain in effect until Boswell is fired:

“The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the individual insurance requirement at the heart of President Barack Obama’s historic health care overhaul.” (Mark Sherman, “High court upholds key part of Obama health law,” Associated Press, 6/28/2012)
