Doctors Give Barrow’s Government Healthcare Takeover a “D” for Disaster
A New Survey Exposes that ObamaCare Won’t Control Costs or Preserve the Doctor-Patient Relationship
WASHINGTON — Over 2,500 physicians completed a survey that measured the impact of John Barrow’s massive government takeover of healthcare and the result was a majority of doctors said it wouldn’t improve quality or control rising healthcare costs for patients. With the pathetic rating of “D” – Barrow will have to decide whether he will continue to blindly follow his Democrat leaders who outrageously say it represents ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’ or listen to the hard evidence provided by doctors against ObamaCare.
“By giving ObamaCare an average rating of ‘D,’ doctors are confirming the fears of every Georgia family that is worried about increased healthcare premiums and a degraded doctor-patient relationship,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Barrow clearly hasn’t listened to Georgia families and seniors when they say his government healthcare overhaul isn’t right for them, but will he finally decide to listen to physicians who agree?”
A new survey by 2,694 physicians of all practices gives ObamaCare a “D” grade, some of the findings were:
“Despite the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) intention to reduce the cost of healthcare and provide coverage for the uninsured, the mean average grade the ACA received by survey respondents was a ‘D’.“A majority of physicians surveyed said the ACA will not improve healthcare’s quality, rising costs or patients’ control over their medical care. They also said the ACA will worsen the amount of control physicians have over their practice decisions.”(“Survey Findings: Physician Attitudes on the Affordable Care Act,”

However, this is a healthcare overhaul that Nancy Pelosi continues to defend regardless of the negative consequences for American families and seniors:
“The Affordable Care Act is ‘about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for the American people,’ Pelosi told reporters on Capitol Hill. She said it ‘unlocks’ them from a job to pursue happiness without the threat of losing their health insurance.” (Jennifer Haberkorn, “Nancy Pelosi: Health law represents ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’,”
