A Delirious Obama Says the Private Sector is ‘Doing Fine’ – Does Costa Agree?
May Saw the Lowest Job Growth in a Year but Democrats Refuse to Abandon their Failed Agenda

WASHINGTON — Today President Obama claimed that the private sector has been “doing fine” amid announcements of some of the worst economic news of his tenure – does Jim Costa agree? The failed policies that Costa’s party has championed have left California families saddled in debt, small business owners with mountains of red tape and the economy in shambles.

“The persistently frail economy has been drowning as the hyper-regulatory policies and massive spending sprees of Jim Costa’s party continue to hold small businesses underwater,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Does Jim Costa live in the same alternate reality as President Obama where he thinks sky-high unemployment and low economic growth is a signal that small businesses are ‘doing fine?'”

At a press conference, President Obama alleged that small businesses were “doing fine”:

Due to the job-killing policies of Jim Costa’s party, the national May unemployment numbers remained unacceptably high and only a dismal 69,000 jobs were created:
