Momentum Continues to Build
Dear Supporter,
Tonight the NRCC filed its July fundraising report…and the numbers are incredibly encouraging. For the month of July we raised $8.5 million and raised our cash-on-hand total by over $5 million to $22 million dollars.
These numbers reflect the growing support for Republican candidates and our positive plans to reverse the negative impact of the Pelosi/Obama agenda. Saddled with massive ethical issues, widespread opposition to ObamaCare and skyrocketing unemployment and deficits, Democrats continue to watch their support wane as the election nears.
But don’t take my word for it, just take a quick look at these numbers to determine for yourself who is building momentum and who is losing support across the country.
- We increased our cash-on-hand from $17 million to $22 million in July
- In 2010 we have more than doubled our receipts compared to the first seven months of 2009
- In the first seven months of 2010 we have raised $11.7 million more than we did in all of 2009
- We are $7.9 million ahead of where we were in cash-on-hand in July 2008, the DCCC is $20.6 million behind of where they were in cash-on-hand in July 2008. We are 55% ahead and DCCC is 37% behind
- We have outraised DCCC in 2010 by $3.6M
- We have outraised DCCC since October 2009
- We raised $7.8 million more in January-July of 2010 than in January-July of 2008. The DCCC has raised $2.9M less in January-July of 2010 than they did in January-July of 2008
- Since January, we have added to our cash-on-hand by $10.7 million MORE than in January-July of 2008
These numbers continue to show our momentum growing as we head into the crucial time of this election. And don’t forget, historically we generally raise more in the last 5 months of an election year than the DCCC.
In addition to providing, yet another, tangible example of our growing support among Americans like you, this money will help us hold Democrats accountable for their reckless agenda.
Thank you for your continued support and onward to November!
Sincerely,
Pete Sessions
NRCC, Chairman
P.S. We have raised more in 2010 than any other congressional committee, Democrat or Republican, but we cannot relax. We have less than 75 days until the election and every dollar donated will go directly to defeating Democrats in November.
