NRCC Launching New TV Ad: Critz’s Support for ObamaCare Endangers Medicare

To Preserve His Alliance with Nancy Pelosi, Critz Voted to Slash Medicare

WASHINGTON – Candidate Mark Critz promised Pennsylvania middle-class families and seniors that he would protect their access to affordable healthcare but Congressman Mark Critz broke that promise by voting over and over again to protect over $700 billion in cuts to Medicare. The National Republican Congressional Committee announced a new ad highlighting what side he’s picked – and it’s the side that Pennsylvania voters want.

“Mark Critz told Pennsylvania seniors what he thought was necessary to get elected and then went to Washington and repeatedly voted to cut over $700 billion from Medicare to pay for ObamaCare,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Mark Critz’s broken promises have proven that Pennsylvanians can’t afford to let him jeopardize their access to healthcare any longer.”

The script for this ad is as follows:

ANNOUNCER: Candidate Critz said he’d oppose ObamaCare.

Congressman Critz voted against repeal multiple times.

Crtiz joined Nancy Pelosi and the liberals in the government takeover of healthcare – one of the largest tax increases in history.

It also cuts $700 billion from Medicare, putting more than 850,000 Pennsylvania seniors at risk of losing some of their benefits.

Mark Critz – clearly he’s not on our side.
