As Gas Prices Rise In North Carolina, Why Won’t McIntyre Support An American Energy Project?
Good Morning,
Wanted to make sure you saw this article today in the Charlotte Observer that discusses how North Carolina families are feeling the pain at the pump…
North Carolina families are asking what Mike McIntyre has done in Congress to help them with these skyrocketing gas prices…
“This being an election year, some voters also point fingers at political leaders…‘No drilling for our own oil; no pipeline to help with Canadian oil and no new refineries – what do you expect?’ said John E. Lane of Charlotte.”
Of course McIntyre has stood firm with anti-energy Democrat activists who are working to kill the thousands of jobs and increased energy independence the Keystone XL pipeline would provide. Why won’t McIntyre support this energy project that will expand American energy production, create jobs and help lower gas prices? The clock is ticking… McIntyre has only 34 days left to end the bureaucratic delay of energy independence.
“Gas prices are on the rise, and Mike McIntyre is running on empty. McIntyre’s continued opposition to American jobs and his support for Obama’s job-destroying policies demonstrates how out-of-touch he is with North Carolina families, who see the effects of high gas prices every day.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Andrea Bozek
