KRNV News 4 in Reno is reporting that corporate lobbyists hosted Nevada Democrat Steven Horsford at a raucous party in the Bahamas, complete with prosciutto and mozzarella. “Like, what more could a guy ask for?” said one attendee. Horsford never reported the trip.

Horsford told the Las Vegas Sun he went “to learn more about Internet gaming policy before federal and state governments. I returned with a better understanding of how to continue to position Nevada as the international leader in the gaming industry." Legislative counciltold the Las Vegas Review-Journal that she told Horsford and other lawmakers they could take “educational, fact-finding” overseas trips.

Well, well, well… Sure looks educational in this YouTube video.

Horsford’s Rule:
Don’t disclose trips from corporate lobbyists

“Fact-finding? Educational? Maybe Horsford can tell us how the prosciutto and mozzarella where. This is just another example of Horsford living by his own set of rules.” – NRCC Spokesman Daniel Scarpinato
