Jim Mathson is “different”

June 22, 2012

Jim Matheson is right. He’s, um… “different.”

Asked about the challenge he faces from Republican Mia Love, Matheson tells this morning’s Roll Call: “They’re looking for something different, and that’s me. I don’t just say it, I’ve done it.”

Jim Matheson is different. In fact, he’s changed a lot – evolving into Obama’s biggest supporter in Utah and supporting his failed policies.

• Jim Matheson supported the failed stimulus, which wasted $1 trillion.
• Jim Matheson opposes repealing ObamaCare, which cuts $500 billion from Medicare.
• Jim Matheson proudly stated: “I’m a Democrat, and I’m here to tell you, I don’t run from that label.”

“Jim Matheson’s staff should start planning his retirement party now, because after November, he will not be a Member of Congress. Mia Love shares the values of Utah families and will stand in perfect contrast to Jim Matheson’s record of having been President Obama’s biggest supporter in Utah.” NRCC Spokesman Daniel Scarpinato
